These terms are an agreement between you and Nexa Rupa Technologies pvt.ltd for your use of BookVaani. By using the app you accept them.
Your content
Only upload PDFs you own or have the right to use. You keep all rights to your files. You allow us to process them (extract, translate, narrate and store) only to provide the service to you. Audiobooks made from your files are for your personal listening and must not be redistributed.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that infringe others’ rights or break the law. To report infringement, contact support@bookvaani.com.
Purchases
- Listening in a book’s original language and the first translated chapter of each book are free.
- Unlocking a book (its remaining translated chapters, and summaries and quotes for every chapter) is a one-time purchase for that book. The price depends on the book’s length and is shown before you pay. Prices include applicable taxes. There is no subscription.
- Payments are processed by Google Play or Razorpay. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy for Play purchases; for Razorpay purchases, contact us within 7 days if a book did not unlock or the audio was unusable.
- Unlocks belong to your BookVaani account, so they come back when you log in on another phone.
Fair use
To keep the service available for everyone, we apply daily limits on uploads and on new translation and narration. Downloaded chapters keep working offline.
Machine translation, narration and AI summaries
Translations, voices and AI summaries are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Don’t rely on them where accuracy is critical.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BookVaani running but can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features; if we end the service, we will give notice in the app.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on our account deletion page.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
